TEAC - XR-5000WB The TEAC XR-5000WB
Video Cassette Data Recorder can record and reproduce 14 channels of measurement data simultaneously using a VHS cassette tape (EIAJ 12.7mm wide). The FM recording method pursuant to IRIG Wide Band Group-II is used. The tape speed can be selected out of one of eight speeds. When 76.2cm/s, the
maximum tape speed, is selected, a frequency response ranging from DC to125kHz is possible. When 0.6cm/s, the minimum tape speed, is selected, a longtime recording up to 11 hours and 28 minutes can be made on a T-120 tape (246m long). The XR-5000WB provides a large multi display by which parameters can be set interactively, and a bar graph of all channels
including an announce channel or a two channel waveform of external input can be monitored. With the ID information recording/reproduction function, ID information can be written onto a tape in real-time, and can be output. The XR-5000WB
also has the auto range function, automatic zero adjust function, self-test function, and search function. In addition, the S/N ratio can be improved with the filter function. (The frequency response, however, is lowered to 1/2 or 1/4.) The optional GP-IB interface (AR-507) with an A/D
converter enables data recorded on tape to be transferred to a personal computer via the GP-IB interface. This allows the personal computer to control the XR-5000WB. Parameters, ID information, and waveforms can be printed out with the optional PT-50 printer unit. The XR-5000WB is data compatible with the XR-5000WB
except some of the ID information. |
